If you’re running Wordpress, you need to install Spam Karma 2

After moderating hundreds of comments as spam, I decided to do something about it. The installation of Spam Karma 2 over at the Bitsmack.com site has been a rousing success, eating 12,485 spam comments in a little over a week. I’ve now installed it here on RyanCollins.org. If you are running Wordpress, take a moment to check it out. The plug-in installs in only a few minutes.

Welcome to my new site for teachers! I couldn’t think of a snappy name, so it’s stuck with RyanCollins.org. I have several goals for the site:

• Keep teachers involved with education news and commentary
• Foster communication among teachers
• Provide technology links and tutorials

The website is just in it’s birthing stages, but the forums are functioning and I’ll have posts up soon. Be sure to subscribe to the RSS feed for the posts, and create your account in the forums. Thank you for stopping by!
